CA State Appellate Procedures

Cyndee Sauceda will present an overview of the California Appellate Districts' basic procedures that govern appeals in civil cases. Learn how to navigate through your appeal from start to finish. Cyndee will review which rules to check, formatting, and the sequence of appeals. Mandatory e-filing using Truefiling will also be discussed.

Cyndee Sauceda works at Meyers Nave as a Legal Assistant Coordinator for the Firm’s Land Use and Appellate practice groups. Cyndee has over twenty years of experience as a legal secretary and holds her paralegal certificate from Skyline College. She is also a certified Trial Director specialist as well as a California Certified Legal Secretary. After several years as the President of the Alameda County Legal Secretaries Association, she has recently taken the position of Governor of the Alameda County Legal Secretaries Association.
