JoAnn Buss is the Director of Docketing Services at Sidley Austin LLP with over 40 years of legal experience. She is responsible for litigation related docketing via a centralized docketing system used by all domestic offices. JoAnn also oversees electronic court filing and provides guidance on court rules and procedures. She has docketing software implementation and development experience with Aderant CompuLaw, Bridgeway Law Manager and Law Bulletin JuraLaw systems. JoAnn has been a participant in numerous litigation related panels as both speaker and moderator for the NDA, PacerPro and Aderant CompuLaw.
Sarah Wood is the Litigation Docketing Supervisor at Perkins Coie LLP in Seattle, WA. After working at the Superior Court in Santa Cruz, CA and then earning her JD, she began her docketing career in 2010 as a Docket Assistant at Cooley, LLP in San Francisco, CA. Sarah moved on to become Managing Clerk at Skadden, Arps LLP in their Palo Alto office. Now, back "home" in Washington state, she is happy to bring her enthusiasm for the world of docketing to the Pacific Northwest.
Kristen Lamb is the Civil Litigation Docket Coordinator at McGuireWoods LLP in Richmond, VA. Kristen has worked in the legal field since graduating from the University of Mary Washington in 2013. At McGuireWoods she transitioned from a Litigation Case Assistant, to Docket Specialist and then assumed the Coordinator position. She has also assisted the Patent and Trademark docketing group and is a member of the Paralegal Training and New Employee Welcoming Committees.
Sean O'Leary is the Senior Intellectual Property Technology Manager at McDermott Will & Emery LLP in Washington, DC, where he administers and Manages IT systems for the firm. Sean has been in IP for over 19 years with much of that time spent in and around docketing as a docketer, manager and systems administrator.
