Bill Raman is a partner in the firm of Fleckman & McGlynn, PLLC. His practice involves all aspects of intellectual property matters except patent prosecution with an emphasis on trademark, trade dress, and copyright counseling, prosecution and litigation. He has represented a wide range of clients in various industries. He is a member of the Panel of Neutrals for the International Trademark Association.

Mr. Raman has spoken at meetings of the ABA, INTA, PLI, AIPLA, LEI, and numerous other organizations on trademark and trade dress issues. He has also authored numerous papers and articles in the field.

Mr. Raman is a past president of the Austin Intellectual Property Law Association and is an active member of the International Trademark Association. He is also a member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association.

Mr. Raman is listed in Who’s Who Legal – Trademarks; has been named by World Trademark Review as one of the “Trademarks Experts’ Experts” in the United States; has been named a Texas Super Lawyer in Intellectual Property for several years; has been selected for inclusion in the “Guide to the World’s Leading Trademark Practitioners;” and is listed among the Best Lawyers In America.

Mr. Raman graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with honors. He received his law degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
