Hello DC Chapter Members
HOW DO YOU HANDLE THE “FLOAT?”
Docketing Deadlines With The Absence Of A Rule Set
A roundtable discussion on how you track and calendar future deadlines that are tied to an event that hasn’t occurred yet.
There are often times when you get an order that lays out a briefing schedule of deadlines triggered by a future anticipated ruling or event that has not yet occurred.
How do you track / monitor those scenarios and make sure those “floating” due dates eventually get on your calendar?
Are there similar scenarios in Patent / Trademark docketing as there are in Litigation?
Do these methods work in both a centralized and a decentralized Docket Department?
