The Education Committee is pleased to announce our next Docket Chit Chat - the NDA's series of roundtables crafted by and for our members, held the last Thursday of each month. Docket Chit Chats are designed for member input, with different topics to guide our chats so they don't become too chitty. Join our give and/or take chats - no experience necessary!

This month our topic will be Docketing Success: Turning Oversight into Opportunities. Join the discussion as we collaborate on the following:

Concerns about speaking to your supervisor - do you try to resolve the oversight among yourselves (docketing team) without other involvement?
Good cop/bad cop-is there someone within your team, including the supervisor that is designated to be the “face” of the team?
How do you address docketing mishaps as a supervisor?
How as a docket professional do you address oversights – do you pass them up?
How do you communicate when a docketing mishap to the case team?
How do you communicate mishaps to the person who made them?
When you’re right and the team doesn’t agree – what do you do?
How do you document and preserve your interactions?
Being held responsible for something out of your control?
When we don’t get adequate support in addressors mishaps?
How are team and end-user conflicts approached related to a docketing mishap?
What is the function of your role when dealing with a conflict

The DC Chapter is thrilled to announce an exciting upcoming event in conjunction with three members of the International Trade Commission (ITC) regarding how to approach and handle 337 Investigations. You are cordially invited to register and attend the following event.
